Through the MNR Student Portal, students access the entire digital collection remotely — from their hostel room, the hospital ward, or anywhere on campus. The system uses RFID-based tracking for physical books and single sign-on for all digital databases.

A Library Orientation Program is scheduled for April 6–7, 2026 as part of Student Orientation Week. All first-year MBBS students attend a mandatory 2-hour session on using PubMed, conducting literature reviews, and using reference management tools such as Zotero and Mendeley.
